DTEC is a project developing an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant called DtecA to improve the driving experience. The DtecA software was developed by an authorised Mercedes Benz distributor and is designed specifically for in-car use.

The project consists of two key components:

• DtecA software: This AI assistant uses Natural Language Processing (NLP) technology to understand and respond to voice commands in 22 languages, even translating them simultaneously. DtecA allows users to control various functions in the car and connect to other smart devices (home and office) with which Dtec integrates. It acts as a central hub, providing voice control of these connected devices and allowing drivers to manage their home on the go. DtecA's artificial intelligence has autonomous learning capabilities, using driver data and environmental information to personalise experiences and anticipate needs. It can even make predictions and take actions without requiring voice commands. Importantly, DtecA collects data with the driver's permission, which is then anonymised and used to improve the Dtec ecosystem.

• DTEC token (DTEC): This cryptocurrency serves as an incentive and payment vehicle in the Dtec ecosystem. Users receive DTEC tokens for sharing their data with DtecA, encouraging data collection and ultimately improving AI capabilities. The more users share data, the larger the data pool becomes, leading to a more robust and valuable Dtec ecosystem.
